Accelerator Update

Friday February 13
The day shift began with store #3228 colliding, stacking in the Antiproton Source (Pbar), and with beam to MiniBoone.

Store #3228 was terminated at 1:42 PM.

Tevatron (Tev) studies began at 2:07 PM.

Shot setup began at 8:08 PM, with store #3231 colliding at 10:46 PM with an initial luminosity of 48.70 E30.

Pbar then returned to stacking.

Saturday February 14
The Midnight shift began with store #3231 colliding, stacking, and with beam to MiniBoone.

At 1:36 AM shot setup to the Recycler Ring (RR) began.

Shots to the Recycler Ring were completed by 3:15 AM.

At 9:15 AM Switchyard 120 turns on to take beam to Experiment T926.

Switchyard 120 turns off at 8:00 PM.

Sunday February 15
The Midnight shift began with store #3231 colliding, stacking, and with beam to MiniBoone.

Store #3231 was terminated at 4:46 AM

Tev shot setup began at 5:29 AM.

Shot setup was put on hold when feeder #37 (Proton area) tripped and caused a power glitch in the other rings. The Pbar stack was not lost.

Linac was back on by 8:53 AM.

Booster was back on by 9:02 AM along with beam to MiniBoone. Booster beam is still unstable causing some trips in the Miniboone line.

Tevatron recovery continues.

At 9:30 AM Switchyard 120 turns on to take beam to Experiment T926.

Shot setup resumes at 1:46 PM, with store #3237 colliding at 3:15 PM with an initial luminosity of 57.96 E30.

Switchyard 120 turns off at 3:48 PM.

Pbar shots to the Recycler began at 5:49 PM and were complete by 7:04 PM.

Monday February 16
The Midnight shift began with store #3237 colliding, stacking, RR has 4E11 pbars, and with beam to MiniBoone

Today's Plans
Terminate the store at 10:00 PM, followed by Tev studies while Pbar continues to stack. Shot setup will begin sometime after that.
