Overview
The Rajendran Raja Fellowship has been established in recognition of the long and distinguished career of Dr. Rajendran Raja in particle physics and at the Fermi Natonal Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab). Through a generous gift from his family, funds are available to provide partial support for a young scientist from India to travel to, and work at, Fermilab.
The Awardee will be provided with funds (approximately $6,000) to support travel to Fermilab and a stay of typically one to several months. These funds can be used for airfare, accommodation, rental car and a per-diem allowance. The awardee is expected to continue to receive a salary or stipend from his or her home institution for the duration of the award.
Following the application procedure, applications should be sent to the Committee Chair, William Wester, at wester@fnal.gov by April 12, 2019.
