Marc Kaducak

Deputy Director for Projects and Engineering (Interim)

Marc Kaducak is Fermilab's interim Deputy Director for Projects and Engineering. He is responsible for all matters involving planning, support and execution of the assigned portfolio of laboratory construction projects to ensure their successful delivery. He has over 30 years of engineering and project management experience including roles as Chief Project Officer and PIP-II Project Manager at Fermilab.

As the Interim Deputy Director for Projects and Engineering, Marc Kaducak is responsible for all matters involving planning, support and execution of the assigned portfolio of laboratory construction projects to ensure their successful delivery. He works across organizational boundaries to facilitate the successful completion of the lab's portfolio of projects and programs alongside the lab's operational commitments.

Kaducak began his career as an engineer in the petrochemical and telecommunications industries. He joined Fermilab as the Project Engineer for the Pierre Auger Observatory and has held engineering and management roles on multiple Fermilab projects and on an NNSA project at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He also served as PIP-II Project Manager and led the Office of Project Support Services. He currently continues to serve as the Chief Project Officer. Kaducak earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from University of Illinois and an MBA from DePaul University.
